SAS Group, Inc. Settles For $1,500

In June 2020, the California Air Resources Board and SAS Group, Inc., of Tarrytown, New York, reached a settlement agreement in the amount of $1,500.00.  SAS Group, Inc. sold, supplied, offered for sale and/or manufactured a “General Purpose Cleaner” product for use in California containing concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations section 94509(a).  The VOC violation resulted in 0.015 tons of excess VOC emissions.  To come into compliance, SAS Group, Inc. is no longer manufacturing Dutch Glow Cleaning Tonic for the Kitchen.
