Sanco Pipeline, Inc. Case Settles for $12,375

Sanco Pipelines, Inc., agreed to pay $12,375. in penalties; $9,281.25 to the California Air Pollution Control Fund and $3,093.75 to the Peralta Community College District, for violating air quality regulations.  An investigation by the ARB showed that Sanco Pipelines, Inc., failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission standards.  ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSI).  To settle the case, Sanco Pipelines, Inc., agreed to the $12,375 penalty and to comply with the PSI and other ARB programs.
