Sachajuan Haircare AB Case Settles for $13,500

Sachajuan Haircare AB manufactured and offered for sale in California five haircare products in violation of ARB’s Consumer Product Regulations.  These products exceeded the volatile organic compound (VOC) content limits for the applicable Hair Styling Product: aerosol and pump spray (6%), Hair Finishing Spray (55%), and Hair Shine (55%) categories and resulted in 0.48 tons of excess VOC emissions.  The case was settled on October 11, 2017, for $13,500.00. The company discontinued some products and made changes to others and now complies with the Consumer Product Regulations.
