This is CARB's notice of approval for El Dorado County Air Quality Management District's submitted Project Plan to fund the voluntary replacement of old, uncertified, wood-burning home heating devices with cleaner and more efficient alternatives.The Program will reduce fine particulate matter, black carbon, and toxic air contaminant emissions from households currently using uncertified wood stoves, wood inserts, or fireplaces as a primary heat source.
