2022 Advanced Clean Cars II Regulations and Associated Amendments (Board Hearings: June 9, 2022 and August 25, 2022)
CARB's Advanced Clear Cars II regulations were approved by OAL on November 30, 2022 and effective the same day. The rulemaking package includes proposed amendments to the OBD II regulation to address the new Low Emission Vehicle IV emission standards.

2021 OBD II and Heavy-Duty OBD (HD OBD) Regulatory Documents (Board Hearing: July 22, 2021)
Final Rulemaking Package (approved by OAL on November 22, 2022, effective the same day)
- Final Statement of Reasons: Summary of the adopted changes and agency responses to each objection and recommendation made by the public during the 45-Day and 15-Day comment periods.
- Addendum to the Final Statement of Reasons: Summary of updates to the Final Statement of Reasons and the final regulation orders.
- Final Regulation Orders: These documents include the strikeout/underline format to identify changes from the current regulations. The final regulation orders only include excerpts of the regulations where the changes were made.
