This is CARB's notice of approval of San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District's (APCD) submitted Project Plan to fund residential air filtration units for South Central Fresno, Shafter, and Stockton communities. This plan will aid in reducing the impact of exposure to air pollution on community residents near sources of pollution within their homes. The approved plan includes $1 million per community for an estimated 5,000 devices in each community. Costs covered by the program include 100 percent of the device cost, replacement filter cost, applicable sales tax, and shipping costs if applicable.
