Community-Identified Project Approval Notice: Ag Burn Alternatives Emission Reduction Program
This is CARB's notice of approval of San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District's (APCD) submitted Project Plan to reduce particulate matter (PM), oxides of nitrogen (NOx), and reactive organic gases (ROG) emissions from agricultural open burning of orchard and vineyard removals by incentivizing chipping and soil reincorporation or land application, Air Curtain Burner (only material with embedded wire, such as cordon-pruned vineyard) and off-site beneficial re-use as an alternative.
