AB 118 directs CARB to adopt guidelines for administering the the Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) and the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Program. In addition, AB 118 directs CARB to develop guidelines for the AQIP and the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program (ARFVTP) to ensure that both programs compliment, and do not interfere with, California's existing air quality programs.
