Reducing Local Air Pollution Through Community-Centered Strategies
Established in 2017 by Assembly Bill 617, the Community Air Protection Program is fundamentally transforming the way local air districts engage with underserved communities to substantially improve air quality in areas that need it the most. Ongoing funding is essential to continue to make progress on this important statewide program.
