Rental Sale and Rental Case Settles for $3,000
On August 19, 2010, Rental Sales and Rental (RSR) agreed to pay $3,000 in penalties for violating air quality regulations; $2,250 will go to the California Air Pollution Control Fund and $750 to the Peralta Community College District for distribution to participating California Community Colleges, under the California Council for Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) program. RSR failed to comply with the Verification Procedure for In-Use Strategies by not following the terms and conditions specified in the applicable Executive Order.
