Renpure LLC Case Settles for $33,000

On April 2, 2014, a case was settled with Renpure LLC for selling “Renpure Organics Shape and Design” in both pump and aerosol spray products, subject to the VOC limit of the Hair Styling Product: Aerosol and Pump Spray category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 6 percent by weight VOC limit. There were approximately 3.86 tons of excess emissions. The company paid $33,000.00 to settle the case.
