R.C. Becker and Son, Inc. Case Settles for $6,375

R.C. Becker and Son, Inc. (RC Becker) agreed to pay $6,375 in penalties; $4,781.25 to the California Air Pollution Fund and $1,593.75 to the Peralta Community College District for violating air quality regulations.  An investigation by the ARB showed that RC Becker failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission standards.  ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSI).  To settle the case, RC Becker agreed to the $6,375 penalty and to comply with the PSI and other ARB programs.
