$154,000 in Fines Paid by Pep Boys Auto
In December 2006 Pep Boys Auto sold and offered for sale several non-California certified all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to California customers. Offering for sale and the sale in California of non-California certified engines and illegal non-California certified vehicles is unlawful and in violation of California Code of Regulations, title 13, sections 2400(a)(2) and 2410(a)(2). Pep Boys self-reported these violations and settled the case in October 2007 for $154,000.
