Innovative Small e-Fleets Implementation Work Group – February 21, 2024
The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) invites you to participate in a public work group meeting on the implementation of Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 policy for the Innovative Small e-Fleet Pilot Program (ISEF). Staff will review updates to the Implementation Manual based off the Board-approved FY 2023-24 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives and discuss ideas for further implementation updates. Staff will also allocate time for participants to share feedback and additional ideas for implementation updates.

Trucking with Clean Fuels Conference and Zero Emission Convoy - February 28-29, 2024
The conference, ride and drive, and convoy will showcase various zero and low-emission vehicles and infrastructure solutions for fleet managers. Speakers will be present representing private companies, public agencies, and policymakers that help shape the alternative fuel transportation industry in the San Joaquin Valley and throughout California. The event is free for fleets and independent owner/operators.

San Bernardino Zero-Emission Ride & Drive - March 1, 2024
The ride and drive will offer test drives of fuel cell and battery electric trucks from Volvo, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Nikola, BYD & Orange EV. Drive one, two or all of them. As part of the transition to zero-emission vehicles, we will also have companies on site to provide insight on financing, insurance, hydrogen fuel, and electric charging infrastructure. The event is free for fleets and independent owner/operators.

Next-Stop to Zero Education Series Breakout Event - May 9, 2023: ZEV TruckStop & ZEV 101 Walkthrough
Are you looking to transition your fleet to medium- or heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) or are you interested in learning about these advanced technologies? Join CARB staff as they showcase the ZEV TruckStop webpage with primary focus on exploring TruckStop's ZEV 101 webpage. This informational session includes a tour of the available information and resources that are available to help assist single owner/operators and trucking fleets as they navigate the transition to zero-emission technologies.
This session is the first in our new, continuing series of shorter educational events, called the Next-Stop to Zero Breakout Series. It demonstrates how these web resources are organized and where to get the information you need. The ZEV 101 webpage includes resources such as terminology, benefits, and disadvantages to medium- and heavy-duty battery electric and hydrogen electric vehicles. It also includes information on commonly asked questions about what the state of the zero-emission market and more. The Steps to Transition section outlines 9 recommended steps to transition to advanced technologies. These resources are accompanied by links to more webpages and serves as a great jumping off point for those who are trying to get up to speed.

| East Bay Community Energy (EBCE) is a non-profit public agency and the default public power provider in Alameda County and the City of Tracy, with the City of Stockton starting service in 2024. In addition to supplying electricity, EBCE is tasked with implementing clean energy programs to enable member cities to achieve their climate goals, faster. Through EBCE’s Transportation Electrification program, the agency is working on a CEC-funded Zero-Emission Medium- and Heavy-Duty Goods Movement Blueprint grant to develop a regional stakeholder plan to accelerate and sustain the transition. |

ACF State & Local Government Agency Fleet Training Webinar The ACF regulation applies to fleets performing drayage operations, those owned by State, local, and federal government agencies, and high priority fleets. High priority fleets are entities that own, operate, or direct at least one vehicle in California, and that have either $50 million or more in gross annual revenues, or that own, operate, or have common ownership or control of a total of 50 or more vehicles (excluding light-duty package delivery vehicles). The regulation affects medium- and heavy-duty on-road vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating greater than 8,500 pounds, off-road yard tractors, and light-duty mail and package delivery vehicles. |
