Quality Assurance
CARB is the governmental agency delegated the authority and responsibility for collecting ambient air quality data as directed by the Clean Air Act. The primary goal of the Quality Assurance program is to effectively oversee and carry out CARB's Quality Assurance Project Plans, Quality Management Plan, and project-level quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities in order to ensure that CARB's decisions are supported by data of known and documented quality.
