Application Process
On October 29, 2024, the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) joint application for the Federal Railroad Administration’s Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements Program (CRISI) was awarded funds for FY2023-2024.
CARB hosted a GO ZERO webinar in March 2025 and is currently working on the next round of applications for the program. If you are interested in participating in the program, please fill out the 2025 GO ZERO Operator Information Request Form and submit it to locomotives@arb.ca.gov by June 27, 2025.
