Suggested Control Measure for Automotive Coatings
Consumer Products Program
The California Air Resources Board (CARB), in cooperation with the air pollution control and air quality management districts (district), developed a Suggested Control Measure for Automotive Coatings (SCM). The SCM promotes uniformity amongst district rules, improves enforceability, and achieves additional reductions of volatile organic compounds. The Board approved the SCM on October 20, 2005.
