Carl Moyer Program funding for California's larger Class 1 freight railroads is generally limited due to the availability of Goods Movement Emission Reduction Bond Program (Proposition 1B Goods Movement Program) funding, and the South Coast and Statewide Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with these railroads.
Listed below are the maximum funding amounts for each eligible locomotive project type as described in the 2017 Carl Moyer Program Guidelines.
