NSC Holding GmbH & Cie. KG Case Settles for $9,000.00

NSC Holding GmbH & Cie. KG has paid $9,000.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on March 13, 2013. An investigation by the ARB showed that the NSC Holding GmbH & Cie. KG vessel Crystal Bay, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. NSC Holding GmbH & Cie. KG took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, NSC Holding GmbH & Cie. KG agreed to the $9,000.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
