Northern Marine Management Case Settles for $7,500

Northern Marine Management paid $7,500.00 in penalties to the California Air Resources Board, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on July 17, 2015. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Northern Marine Management vessel Stena Conqueror failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters in 2014. Northern Marine Management took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Northern Marine Management agreed to the $7,500.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
