Nordshoe LLC Case Settles for $5,200

On August 19, 2015 a case was settled with Nordshoe LLC for selling “Fiebings Leather Dye” subject to the VOC limit for the Footwear or Leather Care Products: All Other Forms category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained a concentration of VOC’s exceeding the 15 percent by weight VOC limit for the category. Excess emissions in this case were approximately 0.01 tons. The company paid $5,200 to settle the case.
