AB 2588 Appendix A Search Tool
Appendix A of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Emission Inventory Criteria and Guidelines (EICG) Regulation is a critical component of the state's Air Toxics "Hot Spots" Information and Assessment Act (AB 2588). The Appendix A serves as the definitive list of substances for which facilities report emissions or usage information to CARB and local air districts.
The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) develops health-based toxicity values, known as OEHHA Hot Spots Health Values, for use within the Air Toxics "Hot Spots" program. These values, including Cancer Potency Factors and Reference Exposure Levels (RELs), are used to estimate the potential health risks associated with exposure to toxic air contaminants. The Consolidated Table of OEHHA / CARB Approved Risk Assessment Health Values compiles these current and approved health values, serving as a central reference for risk assessors and ensuring consistency and the use of the latest scientific information when conducting health risk assessments under the "Hot Spots" program.
