USC Flooring Products, Inc. Case Settles for $60,000

A case was settled with USC Flooring Products, Inc. for importing, distributing, and offering for sale in California laminate flooring made from composite wood products that exceeded the standards specified in title 17, CCR, section 93120 et seq.  USC Flooring Products, Inc. paid $60,000 to settle the case for products that were sold from January 2014 to August 2015.   In addition to this payment, USC Flooring Products, Inc. agrees to not manufacture, distribute, import, fabricate, sell, or offer for sale for use in California, any composite wood product in violation of the Composite Wood Regulation.
