Public Meeting on Assembly Bill 617 Consultation Group: On July 26 in Sacramento and via remote access, CARB will host a public workshop for the Assembly Bill (AB) 617 Consultation Group. Comprised of individuals representing environmental justice organizations, air districts, industry, academia, public health organizations, and local governments, the AB 617 Consultation Group facilitates these meetings to discuss various aspects of Community Air Protection Program implementation. The Consultation Group plays a significant role in informing the development of the current Program Blueprint which is the guidance document for the statewide strategy required by AB 617.
Potential Amendments to the Cap-and-Trade Regulation: On July 27 via remote access, CARB will host a public workshop on updates to the California Cap-and-Trade Program. Staff will present on budget scenarios and concepts related to the overall distribution of allowances. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide comment.
Public Meeting on Proposed Revisions to the Carl Moyer Program for Marine Vessels: On July 28 via remote access, CARB will host a public meeting to consider updates to the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program Guidelines, Chapter 7: Marine Vessels. A discussion with the public will take place to consider program changes that will best support the recent Commercial Harbor Craft (CHC) regulation amendments. Public comment about the amendments will be considered before final adoption.
