Solicitation For Workshop Comments
This notice is to request comments on the material presented at the CARB Mobile Source Certification and Compliance Fee workshops held on November 19th and 20th. The due date for comments is December 4th for comments on the definitions, such as small business, partial carry over or carry over, and comments addressing requests for changes in the proposed fee categories.
Companies commenting on additional cost reductions in proposed fees, please include the following information with your request:
- Potential impacts of the Proposed fees on the number of applications
- Potential impacts of Proposed fees on California production
- Potential impacts of Proposed fees on vehicle/equipment pricing. Will 100% of the fee be passed to the consumer or will your business absorb a portion of it?
- How would the Proposed fees impact your business model?
- Would the Proposed fees create a financial hardship for your business? If so, please explain the nature of the hardship and the effect on your business.
