SAN BERNARDINO - On Monday, July 11, San Bernardino residents will have the opportunity to meet with local environmental advocates and State officials to share their concerns and provide input on how the State will tackle air pollution and meet its 2030 greenhouse gas reduction targets.
The meeting is being organized by the Environmental Justice Advisory Committee, (EJAC) with the help of the California Air Resources Board (CARB). The EJAC consists of representatives from communities in the state with the most significant exposure to air pollution, including communities with minority or low-income populations. The goal of this meeting is to get input on the State's Climate Plan (known as the Scoping Plan) that is currently being developed to cut greenhouse gases 40 percent statewide by 2030.
