LOS ANGELES - The Air Resources Board is working with the California Highway Patrol to conduct inspections on heavy-duty trucks traveling in and around the Los Angeles area. The effort is a follow-up to ARB’s successful “Gear Up For Clean Trucks” campaign in August 2012, which saw 4000 inspections on vehicles at 40 locations throughout the state. More recent ARB strike forces have been active at the Port of Los Angeles and in Imperial County.
