LOS ANGELES – California Air Resources Board Chairman Mary D. Nichols will join state senator Fran Pavley and representatives of environmental organizations at a press conference to provide reaction to the Obama administration’s expected unveiling on Thursday of new federal standards for automobile fuel economy and global warming emissions.
These new standards are based on the “clean cars program” developed by California. As a result of California’s leadership, all fifty states will now benefit from cleaner, more efficient cars
