SACRAMENTO -- The California Air Resources Board will hold a public meeting on Thursday, May 30, 1996 at 9:30 a.m. to consider a report on the progress of the Grand Canyon Visibility Transport Commission (GCVTC). The hearing will be held at the Lower Level Meeting Room in ARB headquarters at:

PRESS AVAILABILITY: ARB Chairman and California Grand Canyon Commissioner, John Dunlap, will be available immediately after the meeting on Thursday, May 30, 1996 to comment on California's participation in the GCVTC.
This will be the last staff update to the Board on California's contributions and involvement in the project to preserve clean air and visibility in 16 of the west's parks and nature areas. The GCVTC will hold its final meeting on June 10, 1996, when it will adopt its final recommendation to be presented to the U.S. EPA.
DIRECTIONS: ARB headquarters is in downtown Sacramento, six blocks east of the State Capitol. From I-80 east or west, take the 15th or 16th Street exits. Head east on X Street to 21st Street. Turn left (north) and proceed to L Street. Turn left again; the ARB building occupies the entire block between 20th and 21st Streets (Thomas Bros. Guide - pg. 297, E-5).
