ARB Settles Air Quality Violations for the Month of April

SACRAMENTO – The California Air Resources Board (ARB) today announced three settlements have been reached involving companies that violated California's air quality regulations. The specifics of each case are as follows:
Company: Los Gatos Auto Mall, Los Gatos, California
Violation: Offered for sale non-California certified motor vehicles to California residents.
When: December 4, 1997
Settlement: $10,500
Company: G.P. Resources, Inc., Santa Fe Springs, California
Violation: Offered for sale or sold vehicular diesel fuel with aromatic hydrocarbon limits above the ARB's standard.
When: June 26, 1998
Settlement: $1,000
Company: Pacific Atlas Oil, Inc., Monrovia, California and its subsidiary, Paramount Services, Paramount, California
Violation: Sold or offered for sale gasoline with a Reid Vapor Pressure that exceeded state standards.
When: April, 1998
Settlement: $1,000
