SACRAMENTO -- The California Air Resources Board (ARB) and local air districts in the Sacramento Valley today announced their toll-free agricultural burning information line. The telephone line is designed to inform callers of preliminary acreage allocated for burning each day on a county-by-county basis.
The information line can be accessed by dialing the following toll-free telephone number:

By dialing the toll-free number, callers can obtain preliminary burn allocations for their county each day and receive telephone numbers for Sacramento Valley air districts. Callers will be given initial allocations as designated by ARB meteorologists. Those allocations may be modified by county agriculture and air quality officials according to local conditions, such as air quality, meteorology and fire danger.
