CARB verified New World Engineering’s EADPF (electrically-assisted diesel particulate filter) as a Level 3 plus actively regenerated diesel emission control system for use with the Thermo King single temperature TRUs.  New World Engineering’s EADPF is electrically regenerated and achieves an 85 percent reduction in emissions of diesel particulate matter and is compliant with CARB’s 2009 nitrogen dioxide limit.  Specific conditions for which the New World Engineering’s EADPF has been approved are found in the Executive Order below.
