Infrastructure Projects
Co-funding infrastructure projects no longer needs to be verified with CARB. The air district must evaluate the co-funded project prior to approval and verify the co-funded project meets all requirements of the Moyer Program. Ongoing infrastructure projects may only be considered for co-funding if project size increased from the original size and budget. (2024 Guidelines, Chapter 10, Section B).
Lawn and Garden Equipment Projects
Lawn and garden equipment projects may be co-funded, which includes Clean Off-road Equipment Vouchers (See Carl Moyer Lawn and Garden and Clean Off-road Equipment(CORE)Voucher Incentive Project Co-Funding Guidance - Coming Soon attachment for guidance specific to CORE Vouchers). Also, air districts, at their own discretion, may choose to wave the applicant cost share (2024 Guidelines, Chapter 3, Section N.5) when funding small business applicants. Small business must be described and defined in the air district's Policies and Procedures (2024 Guidelines, Chapter 3, Section D.5).
