Mia Rose, Inc. Case Settles for $45,000

Between November 2011 and November 2013, Mia Rose, Inc. manufactured for sale in California their Mia Rose Air Therapy line of air freshener products that were in violation of 18% VOC limit for Air Fresheners. During the course of the investigation the company also disclosed an additional line of Mia Rose air fresheners that were not in compliance. Mia Rose immediately ceased sale of the products and reformulated their air freshening product lines. Approximately three tons of excess emissions resulted from the violations. The case was settled on October 1, 2014 for $45,000.
