Marlow Navigation Company Limited Case Settles for $1,000

Marlow Navigation Company Limited has paid $1,000.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on March 10, 2011. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Marlow Navigation Company Limited vessel, Polynesia, failed to properly complete switchover for its engines from Heavy Fuel Oil over to Low-Sulfur Distillate Fuel before entry into Regulated California Waters. To settle the case, Marlow Navigation Company Limited agreed to the $1,000.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
