Lush Manufacturing Ltd. Case Settles for $6,300

Between January 2011 and August 2014, Lush Manufacturing LTD (Lush) sold, supplied, and offered for sale in California Lush Dirty Body Spray and several additional products which were in violation of VOC limits contained in ARB’s Consumer Product Regulations. The products were sold in various container sizes ranging from 2ml to 175ml throughout the State. The sale of the products resulted in 0.326 tons of excess VOC emissions. Lush has since stopped selling the products in California and is currently working on reformulating their product to meet the VOC limits for Personal Fragrance Products with 20 percent or less fragrance. The case was settled on June 5, 2015 for $6,300.
