Lifetime Brands, Inc. Case Settles for $9,500

On August 1, 2012, a Consumer Products case was settled with Lifetime Brands, Inc. for selling and/or supplying non-compliant air fresheners. This product contributed to 0.44 tons excess VOC emissions due to exceeding the 18% by weight VOC limit set under Consumer Products Regulation for Air Fresheners: Liquid/pump sprays specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a). Lifetime Brands, Inc. paid $9,500 to settle this case.
