Lea Journo Cosmetique, LLC Case Settles for $3,000

On June 18, 2014, a case was settled with Lea Journo Cosmetique for selling/manufacturing Pouf Volumizing Spray subject to the VOC limit for the Hair Styling Products: Aerosol and Pump Spray category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 6 percent by weight VOC limit. Excess emissions were approximately 0.13 tons. The company paid $3000.00 to settle the case.
