Project Details
The Community Economic Development Corporation and Institute for Maximum Human Potential will use the Clean Mobility Options Mobility Project Voucher to fund SankofaCity Zero Emissions Multimodal Transportation Ecosystem (ZEMTE) that provides Greater Leimert Park Village Crenshaw Corridor residents with zero-cost, zero-emission, demand responsive shuttles and low-cost e-bike library rentals, via three electric vehicles and 30 e-bikes. Utilizing co-operative and revenue-sharing business models, SankofaCity ZEMTE redistributes profits directly back into underserved south Angeleno communities of color and provides clean mobility options that improve access to resources, create jobs, ease parking scarcities, minimize pedestrian fatalities and reduce harmful air pollution.

Partnership Structure
Voucher Recipient
The Community Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), a nonprofit public benefit corporation, and Institute for Maximum Human Potential, a nonprofit human service agency, will co-lead project implementation. CEDC is the housing subsidiary of the Institute for Maximum Human Potential.
