Lamp Stand LLC Case Settles for $3,000

A case was settled in August 2018 with Lamp Stand LLC (Lamp Stand) for selling Air Freshener: liquid/pump spray products in California, which contained concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The sale of these air freshener products resulted in 0.16 tons of excess VOC emissions attributable to the violation.  Lamp Stand paid $3,000 in penalties, which represents three days of violation.  To come into compliance, Lamp Stand has discontinued selling these products.
