Lamb Chops, Incorporated Case Settles for $6,076
Lamb Chops, Incorporated paid $6,076.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $4,557.00 went to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; $1,519.00 went to the Peralta Colleges Foundation to fund emission education classes conducted by participating California community colleges, under the California Council for Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) program. This settlement was reached in January 2017.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Lamb Chops, Incorporated failed to report annual mileage limits for the period specified for 49 vehicles in their fleet. ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. To settle the case, Lamb Chops, Incorporated agreed to the $6,076.00 penalty and to comply with the TB Regulation and other ARB programs.
