Jig-A-Loo Case Settles for $3,000.00
On February 27, 2013, a case was settled with Jig-A-Loo Canada, Inc. for selling Jig-A-Clean Waterless Hand Cleaner subject to the VOC limit for the Heavy Duty Hand Cleaner category in the Consumer Products Regulations (title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a)). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 8 percent by weight VOC limit and resulted in approximately 0.01 tons of excess emissions. The company paid $3,000 to settle the case.
