ITW Pro Brands Case Settles for $10,920

A case was settled with ITW Pro Brands (Tucker, Georgia) for selling an Electrical Cleaner products into California that contained concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in the Consumer Product Regulation, title 17, California Code of Regulations section 94509(a). ITW Pro Brands paid $10,920 in penalties for 0.91 tons of excess VOC emissions. To come into compliance, ITW Pro Brands has modified the products to meet the Electronic Cleaner Category; and therefore is in compliance with the Consumer Products Regulations.
