International Transportation Services, Inc. Case Settles for $75,025
The facility of International Transportation Services, Inc. (ITS) at the Port of Los Angeles was inspected on July 19, 2012 for compliance with the Cargo Handling Equipment (CHE) regulation. On March 7, 2013 a Notice of Violation was issued to ITS for a few violations to Title 13 CCR §2479. Since the NOV was received ITS retired, retrofit and replaced all the CHE in violation and are now fully compliant with the CHE regulation. The case was settled on March 27, 2014 after the Settlement Agreement was signed by both parties and the penalty of $75,025 was received.
