Howard's Mini Mart Case Settles for $1,000

On May 22, 2008, ARB staff conducted routine sampling at Howard’s Mini Mart in Bakersfield, California and found a violation of fuel specification regulations.  The midgrade and premium grade had a Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) that exceeded the State standard as defined in the California Code of Regulations Title 13, Section 2262.4 Compliance with the California Reformulated Gasoline Phase 2 and Phase 3 Standards for RVP.  On August 10, 2009, the case was settled for $1,000.
