Henry Margu, Inc. Case Settles for $3,750
On May 22, 2012, a case was settled with Henry Margu, Inc. for selling non-compliant Henry Margu Spray for Wigs in California that exceeded the 55 percent by weight VOC limit for hairspray in the Consumer Products Regulation, title 17, California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 94509(a). The company was also in violation of Section 94512(c)(1), Additional Product Dating Requirements; for failing to annually report their date code explanation. The product was sold from 2008 through 2010 and there were 0.24 tons of excess VOC emissions attributable to the violation. Henry Margu, Inc., agreed to pay $3,750.00 to settle the case.
