Hatchbeauty Products, LLC Settles For $3,000.00

In August 2019, the California Air Resources Board settled a case with Hatchbeauty Products, LLC of Los Angeles, California.  The manufacturer sold a Hair Styling Product (aerosol and pump spray) in California that contained concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standard specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations section 94509(a).  Hatchbeauty Products, LLC paid $3,000.00 in penalties for 0.04 tons of excess VOC emissions. Hatchbeauty Products, LLC ceased all sales of the non-compliant product in California and modified the product to meet regulatory requirements.
