Hammonia Reederei GmbH & Co. KG Case Settles for $3,000.00

Hammonia Reederei GmbH & Co. KG has paid $3,000.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on June 1, 2013. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Hammonia Reederei GmbH & Co. KG vessel HR Frequency, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. Hammonia Reederei GmbH & Co. KG took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Hammonia Reederei GmbH & Co. KG agreed to the $3,000.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
