$4,000 in Fines Paid by G&R Roll Off Service

G&R Roll Off Service will pay $4,000 in penalties ($3,000 to CAPCF and $1,000 to the Peralta Community College District for distribution to participating California Council on Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) colleges), for violating air quality regulations.  This settlement was reached in August 2008.  An investigation by ARB showed that G&R Roll Off Service failed to properly retrofit its diesel-powered vehicles in order to meet the Solid Waste Collection Vehicle (SWCV) rule.  To settle the case, G&R Roll Off Service agreed to the $4,000 penalty and to comply with the PSIP and SWCV programs.
