Gold Eagle Company Case Settles for $3,000.00

On January 28, 2013, a Consumer Products case was settled with the Gold Eagle Company for manufacturing non-compliant multi-purpose lubricants and silicone-based multi-purpose lubricants for distribution by the American Suzuki Motor Corporation. These products contributed an estimated 0.06 tons of excess VOC emissions due to exceeding the 50% by weight VOC limit for aerosol multi-purpose lubricant and 60% by weight VOC limit for aerosol silicone-based multi-purpose lubricant set in Consumer Products Regulation. Gold Eagle paid $3,000 to settle the case.
